The conference will be taking place on the University of Bristol campus, which is in the Clifton area of the city and about a 10-15 minute walk uphill from the city centre, so book somewhere that feels accessible to you. Part of what makes Bristol so stunning are its views, but those vistas do mean you should generally be prepared to go up and down hills.
